Forum: Global Warming/Climate Change
Main-stream peer-reviewed science, including the IPCC, is telling us we have a problem.... Climate Change might seem like a more accurate term, and in the shorter term it might be, but in the longer term there is no escaping that the term Global Warming is more appropriate.

Forum: Peak Oil (the end of cheap oil)
Increasingly we are hearing that oil production will peak and then fall, while demand rises.

Forum: Overall visioning, covering all sub-groups
This forum is for overall visioning. The key task of each of the sub-groups is to explore the question: 'What is a vision for a low-energy (Stafford) in relation to this field, and what might a time-table for that look like?' Note that the listed sub-groups are not necessarily the ones we want, there may be too many or too few. Initially we might just want to discuss current issues.
Use this particular forum to cover all sub-groups, including overall visioning and 'missing' groups...

Forum: Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP)
This forum focuses on the Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP), which draws on the output of the sub-groups and sets out a vision of a powered down, resilient, relocalised future, and then backcasts, in a series of practical steps, creating a map for getting from here to there.
